Pi Lambda Phi Undergraduate Chapter Awards

Having the highest grade point average on your respective campus.  (For the entire year or for either the Fall, Winter, or Spring semester/quarter).
 
Given to the Chapter of Pi Lambda Phi which has the highest scholastic rank of all Chapters, regardless of their rank on campus.
 

The International Executive Council, at its April 18, 1978 Meeting, established the William "Snap" Melniker Community Service Award.  This is to be an annual award to a Chapter for outstanding community service.  A permanent plaque honoring the winning Chapters has been established at the International Headquarters

 

The International Executive Council, at its March 28, 1996 Meeting, established the Jules Lennard Human Relations Award.  This is to be an annual award to an individual or chapter or colony for promoting human relations.  A permanent plaque honoring the winning Chapters has been established at the International Headquarters.

 

These are awarded to chapters and colonies that have outstanding programs in any one of the following areas:

 

Community Service

Recruitment

Risk Management

Ritual

Alumni Relations

Finances

Athletics


New Member Programs

Scholarship

Housing

 

Awarded to a Chapter for Improvement in General Operations

 
 

Given to a Chapter for Outstanding General Operations.

    GEORGE A. BECK OUTSTANDING CHAPTER AWARD

 

Presented annually to that Chapter of Pi Lambda Phi which has the most outstanding chapter operations.

 

The Purpose of this award is to promote increased communication among our chapters and colonies.
