Awarded to an Alumnus Brother who has rendered meritorious service for a period of years to the International Fraternity or to a Chapter/Colony.  Usually these are not given to the same alumnus every year.  Rather, they are usually given every two to three years for continued service by an alumnus.

Pi Lambda Phi Alumni Awards

 
The Council Key is awarded to an Alumnus Brother for meritorious service over a number of years.  (Must have previously received a minimum of three Certificates of Merit.)
 
Awarded to an Alumnus Brother who has rendered meritorious service for a period of years to the International Fraternity or to a Chapter/Colony and who has previously received the Council Key.  Once an alumnus has received three (3) Gold Certificates of Merit, they are eligible for the Diamond Chip Council Key.
 
Awarded to the Alumnus Brother who has contributed the most to Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity during the preceding years.  The award was established by Edward Goldman, C.K., Past President of the International Executive Council (formerly National Council).  No person previously has received this award with less than fifteen years of continuous service as an alumnus to the Fraternity.

Awarded to alumni Brothers who are held in high esteem by virtue of outstanding accomplishment which brings honor to the Brothers of Pi Lambda Pi. The Big Pi Chapter has become the "who's who" of well regarded and famous alumni.
